1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Appointo at https://getappointo.com (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Appointo (“Appointo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

2. Description of Service

Appointo provides online appointment scheduling and related tools for hosts and their clients, including booking pages, availability management, notifications, optional payment collection, and optional meeting-link creation through connected providers (such as Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams).

3. Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.

3.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create a host account and use the Platform.

3.3 Your content and bookings

You are responsible for the services you offer, your booking policies, cancellations, and communications with your clients. Appointo is a technology platform; it is not a party to the underlying service relationship between hosts and clients unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.

4. Plans, fees, and payments

4.1 Subscriptions

Appointo may offer free and paid plans. Features and pricing are described on the Platform. We may change plans or pricing with reasonable notice where required.

4.2 Host-collected payments

If you enable payments, processing is performed by third-party processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). Their fees and terms apply. You are responsible for taxes, refunds, and chargebacks related to your offerings, except where the processor or law assigns responsibility differently.

4.3 Refunds

Platform subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Refunds for individual client bookings are governed by the host’s policy and applicable payment-provider rules.

5. Meeting integrations (Google, Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Client bookings

Clients who book through the Platform agree to provide accurate information, follow the host’s cancellation and payment rules, and use booking features lawfully. Hosts are responsible for publishing clear policies to their clients.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform’s software, design, branding, and content (excluding your content and client-submitted booking details) are owned by Appointo or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform materials except as allowed by these Terms or with our written permission.

You retain rights to your own content. You grant Appointo a limited license to host and process that content solely to operate the Platform for you.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that third-party integrations will always succeed.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APPOINTO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PLATFORM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO APPOINTO FOR THE PLATFORM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF NONE, USD $50).

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Appointo against claims arising from your use of the Platform, your services to clients, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, risk to the Platform or other users, or non-payment. You may stop using the Platform and request account closure. Provisions that by nature should survive (including liability limits, indemnity, and intellectual property) will survive termination.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where mandatory law requires a different process.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of getappointo.com, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction over that operator may hear disputes, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
